Importing members

Prepare your data, validate common issues, and send onboarding emails so customers can start using KwikPass without friction.

Export and prepare your data

  1. Export members from your previous system with status and plan details.
  2. Use the CSV template with columns for name, email, phone, plan, start/end dates.
  3. Normalize phone numbers to include country code; trim whitespace in emails.

Tip: Keep a backup copy of your raw export in case you need to re-import.

Validate and dry-run the import

  1. Upload the CSV to Imports in your dashboard.
  2. Fix highlighted issues like invalid emails or overlapping membership dates.
  3. Run a small dry-run batch to confirm plan mapping and access dates.

Validation reduces errors during check-in and avoids billing confusion.

Send invites and track adoption

  1. Enable Send invites to email customers with portal sign-in instructions.
  2. Monitor invite delivery and first sign-ins in the Members tab.
  3. Resend invites or share your landing page for quick self-serve access.

Track adoption rates per branch and follow up with customers as needed.
